Until December 31, 2025 HŽ Putnički prijevoz continues to provide free transport to residents affected by the earthquake in the area of Sisak-Moslavina County.

Residents affected by the earthquake in the Sisak-Moslavina County are entitled to free transport with a ticket valid in the 2nd class of regular trains on all routes in domestic traffic.

To be eligible for a ticket for an unlimited number of trips, it is necessary to have a HŽ Putnički prijevoz smart card with a profile/ticket, which can be purchased at the ticket office for the price of EUR 2.65.

Passengers who have a smart card with the "Resident of SMŽ" profile/annual pass valid until June 30, 2025, can continue to travel using their existing smart card until the end of 2025.

Passengers who do not have a profile/annual pass for the period up to June 30, 2025, but are entitled to free transportation, must obtain a smart card with the "Resident of SMŽ" profile/annual pass at a cost of EUR 2.65, valid from July 1 to December 31, 2025.

The transitional period for obtaining the smart card and purchasing the profile/annual pass lasts until July 31. During this period, passengers may travel using personal identification documents, and free single tickets can be collected at the ticket office or on the train.

To create a smart card, it is necessary to fill out a request and attach a photo, identification document or certificate of residence/domicile in the cities of Petrinja, Glina, Sisak and Hrvatska Kostajnica and the municipalities of Lekenik, Sunja, Donji Kukuruzari, Majur, Dvor, Topusko, Gvozd, Jasenovac, Hrvatska Dubica and Martinska Ves.

Smart card requests and the necessary documents are submitted at the ticket office.

Passengers who have a smart card do not need to create a new one, instead, they should come to the ticket office with the above documents and pay 2.65 euros for a profile/annual ticket.
