Tickets can be purchased at HZPP ticket offices with a 40% discount or online (online tickets are 10% cheaper than tickets bought at the counter). Seats on daytime trains operating on the route Zagreb Main Station – Split – Zagreb Main Station must be reserved, and the reservation fee is EUR 1.06.
The special offer is not valid for travel shorter than 25 km.
Passengers travelling on night trains can purchase a ticket for a sleeping car or a couchette car. In addition to the ticket price, an extra fee is charged for the use of a sleeping berth at the following rates:
Couchette tickets can be purchased at ticket offices or online, while sleeping berth tickets can be purchased at ticket offices.
If passengers cannot visit the ticket office in person, they may request a reservation via mail rezervacije@hzpp.hr at least 48 hours before departure. The request should include the date and route, number of passengers, and train number. An invoice will be emailed, and upon payment, passengers will receive a ticket that can be printed or shown on a mobile device.
Children, school pupils, university students, pensioners, seniors over 65 travel and persons with disabilities travel free of charge upon presenting a smart card (more information you can find at Free transport). Seat reservation of 1.06 EUR is required for day trains. If the above-mentioned categories of passengers travel in a couchette car or sleeping car on night trains, an additional fee is charged for the use of a couchette or sleeping berth.
In daily trains 520, 522 and 523 bicycles can be transported in a carriage with a dedicated bicycle compartment (10 spaces). On night trains, only folding bicycles may be carried, provided they are transported as hand luggage.
The ticket price for a bicycle is €1.99.
