Changes in the international timetable

According to a notice from the Austrian Railways, due to construction work between the Ötztal and Bludenz stations from the night of October 6/7 until October 31/November 1, 2025, the direct coaches of trains 414/464 and 465/415 on the Zagreb GK – Zürich Hbf. route and vice versa will be rerouted via Schwarzach-St. Veit – Salzburg Hbf. – Bregenz, without stopping at the intermediate stations Salzburg and Bregenz. As a result, train 414/464 will arrive at Zürich Hbf. at 11:20, and train 465/415 will depart from Zürich Hbf. at 18:40.

Passengers traveling between Schwarzach-St. Veit, Innsbruck, and Bregenz are advised to use alternative trains or replacement buses organized by the Austrian Railways. Due to the changes, passengers will need to transfer at the stations Ötztal, Bludenz, Feldkirch, and Buchs. For more information, please visit the Austrian Railways website.

IMPORTANT: On the night of November 1st to 2nd, 2025, trains 414/464 and 465/415 will not include direct carriages to Zürich Hbf in their composition. Passengers traveling to Zürich Hbf are kindly requested to consult the Austrian Railways website for more information.

 

According to the notice from the Austrian Railways, due to works in the Karawanks Tunnel on December 1, 2025, passengers on train 211 will be transported by bus on the Villach Hbf – Jesenice route.

Due to track works being carried out by Slovenian Railways on the Ilirska Bistrica – Ilirska Bistrica Border section from October 20 to 24 and on October 27 and 28, 2025, buses will replace trains and run according to the train timetable:

 

  • 481 Ljubljana 8:40 AM – Ilirska Bistrica 10:12 AM – Šapjane 10.40 – Opatija-Matulji 11.06 –  Rijeka 11:21 AM
  • 482 Rijeka 11:50 AM – Opatija-Matulji 12.06 – Šapjane 12.48 – Ilirska Bistrica 1:03 PM – Ljubljana 2:36 PM

 

Replacement buses will stop in front of the station buildings.

 

Delays are possible due to special traffic regulations.
