Hop aboard the jolliest train of the year, enjoy the magic of the holidays, and create unforgettable memories! The Tin-express will run from 30 November 2025 to 6 January 2026.

This Christmas season, trains in Zagreb, Rijeka, Split, Varaždin, Čakovec, Koprivnica, Vinkovci, Osijek, Slavonski Brod, Bjelovar and Virovitica will once again be filled with laughter as the Tin-express returns. We invite children, parents, grandparents, aunts, and everyone else to join the cheerful gathering in decorated trains filled with good spirits, where Santa Claus personally gives a gift to each child and brings a smile to the adults. 

This year, on the Zagreb route, the Tin-express will run from 30 November 2025 to 6 January 2026 on the Zagreb Main Station – Savski Marof – Zagreb Main Station line. Trains depart from Zagreb Main Station at 9:30 and 11:00, and the ride lasts about one hour.

The ticket price for a child is 8 EUR (including a gift package), and for an adult 7 EUR. On weekends, rides are open for individual purchases, and on weekdays special rides are organized for kindergartens and schools.  Tickets for the Tin-express on the Zagreb route are available at the Zagreb Main Station ticket counters.

Marking the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December, HŽ Putnički prijevoz traditionally, in cooperation with patrons and sponsors, offers free Christmas train rides to associations, homes, and centers for children with disabilities and developmental difficulties, as well as centers for abandoned children and children without parental care from Zagreb and other cities.
