Instructions for ticket purchase via smartphone

1. Log into the application

To log into the application, you need to download the application HŽPP tickets from online stores. Once you download the application, click on the My HŽPP menu on the homepage of HŽ Putnički prijevoz site and create a user account.

1. On the toolbar, select the menu option ‘My HŽPP’.

2. Select the option ‘New account’.

3. Enter the requested information.

4. Activate your user account via the link that will be sent to your email address.

After the user account is created, enter your username and password in the application, select the language of the application and then click ‘Continue’.

2. Main menu

Once logged in the application, the Main menu will appear. The Main menu contains three sub-menus:

  • Buy ticket – allows you to buy tickets and reserve seats in domestic transport
  • My tickets – review of purchased tickets
  • Settings – review of user account information

 

2.1. Buy ticket

2.1.1. Selection of parameters

Select the parameters of your journey:

1. From (departure station)

2. To (arrival station)

3. Date (departure/return)

4. Journey (one way / round trip)

5. Class

6. Category* (regular price, child 6-12 years old, retired or older person, young person 12-26 years old, student).

 

*If you have bought a discounted ticket, the conductor has the right to ask you to present HŽ Putnički prijevoz card according to which you are entitled to a discount or, in the case of a discount for children aged 6 to 12, the conductor may ask you to present the child’s health insurance card or other document confirming the child’s age.

After selecting the parameters, click ‘Continue’. If you want to change the parameters, click on ‘Back’.

2.2. Train timetable display

Select a train.

By selecting ‘i’ a list of symbols providing information on trains will be displayed.

            

2.3 Ticket details

By selecting a train without the possibility of seat reservation, ticket details will be displayed. Then click ‘Continue’.                                                                                                                                                                              

                                

2.4 Seat reservation

By selecting the train with the required / possible seat reservation, activate the button for reservation in the upper right corner of the screen if you want to purchase a reservation.

In the parameter ‘Seat reservation’ select the option ‘Seat type’ and select a seat by the window / aisle or in the middle.

Ticket details are displayed. Then select ‘Continue’.

 

2.5. Payment

The screen will display the data you entered when registering on My HŽPP. Enter the data necessary for payment and select ‘Pay’.

 

2.6. Confirmation

Once you pay the ticket, a message about the successful execution of the transaction will appear.

Confirmation of successful transaction and the e-ticket will be sent to your email address. Your e-ticket will be available in the My tickets menu. Then select ‘Return to the main menu’.

 

3. My tickets

In the main menu, select the submenu ‘My tickets’, which displays your purchased tickets. When you select a ticket, the details of the ticket and a QR code that will be scanned by the conductor on the train to check the validity of the ticket, will appear on the screen.   

        

4. Settings

In the Settings submenu, you can view the details of your user account. At the bottom of the screen there is an option to change the language of the application.

5. Sign out

A drop down menu opens in the top right menu. Click ‘Sign out’, to sign out from the application.
